Registration

Registration: from June 1 to October 2, 2006.

The documents required for a first registration are as follows:

• request for registration (form available from the secretariat);

• original of study certificate allowing access to university in the student’s own country (e.g. High School certificate);

• birth certificate;

• three photographs;

• letter of recommendation, from superior (if religious), from Seminary rector (if seminarian), from church authority (if lay person);

• certificate of extra collegiality (for priests from outwith the diocese of Rome and not resident in a designated residency).

•receipt of the payment of the academic fees.

Lay Students with a mother language other than Italian must also provide:

• a certificate of participation in an Italian language course from a recognised institute, or an entrance examination in the Faculty or to attend and pass the language course examination held in the university;

• original study certificates giving access to university study in the student’s own country (e.g. High School), accompanied by a translation, certified as correct, approved by the Italian diplomatic authority in the home country. This authority must also provide a declaration that the certificates produced give right of access to university in the home country;

• a photocopy of the passport;

• a permission to stay in Italy for study, given by the Italian authorities.
