Procedures for Registration and Re-Registration

  1. Registration and re-registration for the 2006-2007 academic year should be done between June 1st 2006 and October 2nd 2006.
    Registration between October 3rd and October 31st 2006 is possible, but carries a supplementary fee of Euro150.
  2. Each student should fill out the whole of the Registration Form available on demand at the Secretariat, and verify that he/she is in possession of all the required documents, as indicated on the form.
  3. New registrations in I, II or III Cycle should arrange to see the Dean or President of the relevant Faculty/Institute in order to receive the Nihil Obstat stamp on the registration form. At the same time the Dean/President will approve the student’s personal study plan.
  4. Payment of tuition fees for the academic year should be made, in one single payment, at the University Cashier’s desk or at a branch of the Banca Popolare di Sondrio. Bank payment forms are available at the University Cashier’s desk.
  5. Only once this procedure has been completed should students, in possession of the receipt for payment of tuition fees or of the form for the request of "diritto allo studio", proceed to the Secretariat in order to present their documentation and conclude the registration process.
  6. Registration for 2006-2007 academic year allows students to pass examinations and to obtain academic degrees only until the examination session of October 2007.

Please note that:

  1. The norms for choices of optional courses and seminars will be published inthe next future..
  2. For optional courses and seminars students should make a first choice and also a reserve choice. Courses with fewer than 8 persons and seminars with less than 5 persons registered will not be activated.
  3. All the courses (fundamental and optional) and seminars will begin from October 9 2006, for the first semester, and from February 19 2007 for the second semester.
  4. Students who intend request economic subsidies (tuition fee reductions or work-study programmes) must fill the form available at the Secretariat and add the requested document (cfr. Ordo Anni Academici) within the indicated date. In this case, students must not pay the academic fees until the publication of the deliberation on tuition fee waivers and grants. They can be registered conditionally, by providing the Secretariat with a copy of their written request for one of the subsidies indicated above. The deliberation on tuition fee waivers and grants will be published in the University's Internet Homepage and sticked on University's notice boards: no information will be given by mail or by phone.
